第一次想玩全音單元
想請問有無帥兄可以幫我設計一個TQWT箱比這個單元用?

It seen very good designed driver!!

You may need additional super tweeter, since the impedance increase a lot on higher frequency.

QTS, VAS and most figure look very well.

I am interesting on it. but, I am not a real expert on speaker design.

Let consider more before start paper work.

Would you add super tweeter?

How large the cabinet you can allow?

How is your listening environment? Speaker would backing with wall and corner? Air pipe at front or rear?

沒想到版主大哥會現身!
我的廳很細!每晚回家也聽不到一小時!又不能太大聲!所以想試試玩全音喇叭!
會加超音,音箱大點也可以!想座地,出氣口前或後大哥幫我拿主意吧!
全石器材!蛋機還有部陳年 dynaco 70.
喇叭位置用圖A多年!最近改用圖B 發覺方面也改善很大!
會用圖B放喇叭.

全音喇叭音色和二路三路分別大吾大,高低音去得盡吾盡?空問感如何?吾會聽一些碟像聽收音機,

Dear bravia18,

Refer to the floor plans. The first option is much better. Since it is much more balance and the speaker would not block the corridor.

You need another curtain on the left-hand side to balance the effect on the right-hand side window. If you can, move your sofa forward, so that some space on behind. That avoid the sound rebound from rear wall too close to your ear and sound more nature!!

Keep at least 3 feet behind your speaker and 2 feet to the side wall (or window curtain)

You have 10' wide and 15' long. It is a very good as in Hong Kong. So too large cabinet may not suitable but could be rear opening for better bass extend. I would recommend a folded rear air-outlet TQWT with size around 400W x 500D x 1200H. Around 200Liter volume. Let consider the size before details design.

全音單元音樂更連貫, 而且音樂從一個單元發出, 使聲音更集中而更清澈. 沒有分音器的全音喇叭就沒有分頻點相位問題. 而且音箱設計就更容易. 細節損耗少, 音色更感性.

二路及三路喇叭好處在拿取單元最平直, 表現最理想的頻率部份合併使用. 整體頻率響應及阻擴更平直, 表現理性. 但複雜的分音器使能量及細節損耗不少. 所以一般也很難做到高效率. 必須使用大功率放大器. 這些大功放不是粗聲, 就是昂貴.

在預算有限的打工仔, 或希望設計及容易DIY的自作一族. 全音喇叭比較合適.

It is not cheap la!! Your transformer is super large, choke, tube voltage regulator...etc.

It used 4 x 12AY7. A bit too many triode as a line amp. What are the function on each triode? Or any circuit/schematic can show us?

線路是除偉強先生發表過的 AN M77 .每支12AY7 裏的双三極并聯出力.第一及第二支胆直接交連.輸出只有一粒0.15uf.因為不知效果如何!所以供電重一點用料!主線路板粗一d.等開聲!可以慢慢換料!重點應是那粒0.15uf身上.(線路明天補上)

Is this modified AudioNote M7 include the phono stage like the original M7?

最好的並聯也只等於雙屏2A3, 比較單屏2A3, 始終差一點. 好處是減低一半內阻. 動態比較好, 但卻損失不少細節. 我比較喜歡Audio Note M7原本線路.

Finally, draw the cabinet here. The air outlet can be 75 dia. x 75mm long, if you cannot found 65 diameter pipe.

QTWT 設計只須在細端(Smaller end)放吸音物料. 只須要拆開單元, 從開口中放入就可以. 後板不須要做可拆式.

吸音物料的量及質影響很大, 須要不斷試驗, 找出最好效果. 長羊毛(Long hair wool)一般認為最好.

CS8416 + CS4398 bypass 所有op amp .直接胆出力.好好玩.又好聲!

Seems you are pretty nifty with the MJK worksheets. Been trying to design a poor man's TQWT box (with Pioneer 4 1/2" full range speaker) using AKABAK but getting funny results. Wonder if you could spare a little of your precious time to work out a design for me.
